Glam-rock superstars Black Veil Brides are keeping up their incredible 2011 momentum by closing out the year with another new release – this time in the form of the iTunes exclusive EP Rebels. The band has been teasing the mini-album during their concerts with performances of Billy Idol's classic '80s anthem "Rebel Yell," which is one of three songs on this collection – which also includes a new original single and the uncensored director's cut of the band's most recent music video "Rebel Love Song."
In addition to their cover of "Rebel Yell," the Brides have also recorded a cover of the KISS classic "Unholy" (from the 1992 album Revenge), with a guest solo guitar provided by the legendary Zakk Wylde. The digital EP leads off with a new original Brides tune, "Coffin," which was recorded during the sessions for their smash album Set the World on Fire. The download pack also includes a six-minute director's cut of their music video "Rebel Love Song," which premiered in its original form in mid-October. This will be the first time this version of the video will be seen by the public. |
